Yamaha starts heritage bikes for tomorrow with Faster Sons

When Yamaha started their Sport Heritage segment a few years ago, the company's pioneering adventure became the leading offer for providing easy to customise factory bikes through the Yard Built platform. Now they are planning an extension.

With the working title of 'Faster Sons: Building Bikes to Believe In', Yamaha is now set to offer more diversity and innovation while paying respect to the bikes of yesteryear.

Experts in concept machines, Yamaha will plan to build bikes with inspiration from previous models while showing pride in the motorbikes of today and tomorrow and display their vision through a video.

In the footage, a designer develops his love for old aeroplanes in 1975 which he then applies to motorbikes in 2015. Adding metal panels to the bodies of the bikes as he restores them creating modern and traditional looking bikes.
