At MotorbikeTimes, we love anything or any motorcycle that we think is especially unique and different. The Kubo by LitMotors is one such scooter that has caught our fancy.

The Kubo, whose name is clearly inspired by its design, is a curious scooter that has a 22-inch cube-shaped cargo space area, which is located in front of the rider. This is the area that is usually reserved for the tank and engine of a motorcycle.

This fun and eye-catching scooter is also electric and promises to be able to carry more than your fair share of daily luggage.

Described by its company as "a pick up truck on two wheels", the Kubo is also a practical ride that can carry a total weight of 136kg.

Even whilst carrying heavy items, the scooter has been developed in a customer-friendly way, as it keeps the centre-of-gravity as low as possible.

This ensures the safety and security of the passenger as well as the cargo that they are carrying.

Furthermore, the cargo area also has a rubber floor as well as hooks for nets, which help in keeping the luggage secure.

There is even an under-seat, storage compartment that is ideal for storing your valuables.

Powered by a mounted electric motor of 3kW, the Kubo has a top speed of 45mph and a range of 50miles. It can also be charged up from any standard outlet.

As a result, this is a perfect buy for anyone who wishes to be practical and yet stand out from the crowd.

The Kubo is the latest design spark from Lit Motors, who first caught our eye back in 2012 with the C1, an electric bike that can't fall over.

LitMotors is based in San Francisco and is currently hoping to be able to receive the required funding in order to start producing its Kubos.
