Specs and pricing for MT-10 finally revealed following unveiling at EICMA

Yamaha has revealed the price and full specifications for its MT-10 during the launch of the new MT-09 during the launch of the new MT-03 and updated MT-09 in Spain.

Originally unveiled during the EICMA show in Milan last October, the MT-10 will be competitively priced at £9,999 pus tax and registration, and is scheduled for release in late April/early May.

According to Yamaha, the bike, with a wet weight of 210kg and dry weight of 190kg respectively, will come with a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valved R1 retuned engine providing for 160hp, with 82 lbs ft of torque and displacement of 998cc.

A seat height of 825mm should provide for a comfortable ride, along with a height of 1,110 mm, 800 mm width and length of 2,095 mm.

Meanwhile, hydraulic dual disc, 320 mm at the front and 220 mm come as standard on the MT-10 featuring aluminium Deltabox frame and 43mm telescopic forks as front suspension system.

Additional features include an assist/slipper clutch, traction control, ABS, and Johnny 5 headlights.
