Boxing legend, Evander Holyfield, dropped in unannounced to a Sale dealership of the popular motorcycle brand Ducati over the weekend (18 August).

Staff were stunned to discover the famous boxer visiting their store. Holyfield had dropped by to check out the 2012 Ducati range, paying particular interest to a top of the range Diavel.

However, the boxer still needs to gain one vital element; his motorcycle license. The five time world heavyweight champion had previously expressed an interest in attaining his motorcycle licence through the Ducati motorcycle school but has yet to officially sign up.

The boxer, nicknamed 'The Real Deal', had earlier arrived in the UK to promote the launch of his first restaurant 'Holyfields', based in Heswall, Wirral.

Whilst in the country he also hopes to try and negotiate a bout with one of the Klitschko brothers in October.

But the 49 year old didn't leave the store empty handed - whilst not picking up a bike this time, he walked away with some of the latest Ducati gear to wear during his time in the UK.

If you fancy popping in to the branch where the Holyfield checked out what Ducati has to offer, this premier dealership is located on the A56 off Junction 7 off the M60 or visit their website for further info.
