The sale of a 2007 Honda cr250 on eBay for £1 might raise a few questions for some readers, such as whether it was a hoax or if there was some sort of catch

If that is what you thought then you would be right. There is definitely a catch. A massive one and it is about as big as a big, big house.

According to the description of the model it is in "very good condition" but that it is up for "sale due to severe police corruption."

With eyebrows firmly raised at this point the account goes on to say: "I also need the money to pay my sister back for moving me away from Leicestershire after the police threatened to get me falsely convicted of being a paedophile."

The seller then rounds off the description by saying "The government also want me dead as they have stolen my 500 million pound a year business idea."

It is up to you whether this one still tickles your fancy but beware that the account holder only accepts cash and is only available for collection "in Edinburgh not the Highlands."
