Guy Martin has agreed a new deal with his Tyco Suzuki team, extending his stay there to a fourth year.

The British rider revealed that he had a number of offers, but "knew deep down" that he would end up staying with the team.

The road racing team, based in Northern Ireland, is run by Hector and Philip Neill, and also has top riders Josh Brookes and Alastair Seeley.

Martin, from Lincolnshire, posted a video on YouTube after getting frustrated by rumours linking him to various teams, and used the opportunity to announce he would be sticking with Tyco Suzuki.

Guy is a popular rider because of his colourful personality, and he was recently invited to visit Valentino Rossi's private race ranch for a friendly showdown.

The 31-year-old is still trying to secure his first Isle of Mann TT win, and has been competing there since 2004.

In that time he has enjoyed eight podium finishes and will be hoping to push further to get that elusive win.

Martin said in the video: "We haven't won a TT yet, but that will come, and I think the best chance of winning will come with this team.

"To race on a motorbike I want to enjoy it, and there's no better way to enjoy it than with this bike".

Guy took three wins at the Ulster Grand Prix on the weekend (17-18 August), after winning both of the Superbike races and the first Supersport race, taking his overall career tally at Ulster to eight wins.
