Honda, and Suzuki are holding private testing sessions this week as they look to take advantage of the MotoGP summer break.

Suzuki is doing its testing with riders Randy de Puniet and Nobautsu Aoki as the team prepares for its full-time MotoGP return in 2015.

Davide Brivio, Team Manager of Suzuki, said: "We will continue working with the data we collected at the previous tests of Motegi (in May), Barcelona and Aragon.

"The development has not stopped and this week we are going to try out various setups and continue to work on the electronics, chassis and engine packages in order to find further improvements in performance."

Former MotoGP champion Casey Stoner will be one of the test drivers for Honda in Motegi, Japan on Tuesday and Wednesday this week (6-7 August).

The announcement of Stoner testing for Honda has raised questions over whether a return to MotoGP was on the cards for the former champion, but Honda has denied the possibility.

The MotoGP season will return on 16-18 August at Indianapolis.
