Ducati is giving bikers the opportunity to ride on the famous Assen race track in the Netherlands - a must for any motorcycle enthusiast

Ever dreamed of opening up your bike on the famous Assen racetrack? Well here's your chance.

This July will see the return of the Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) which gives motorcycle enthusiasts of all abilities to ride of famous circuits across Europe and this year is the turn of Assen in the Netherlands.

Even if you are not a Ducati owner you can still take part because the price of the course includes bike hire meaning you can choose between the brand new 899 Panigale or the classic Monster 1200.

The TT Circuit Asssen is a staple of MotoGP, playing host to the competition on June 28th, while it will also host the British Superbike Championship between September 19th and 21st.

With prices starting from £365, riders will be able to listen to some expert advice from legends such as Manuel Poggiali, Paolo Casoli and Andrew Pitt.

The 2014 DRE will take place on July 10th.
